HAND PAINTED FABRICS - CHUPA QUENAYA
Chupa Quenaya.- is a Shippibo name for hand painted tocuyo fabrics for Sippibo- conibo women. They use natural dye and geometric designs with great complexity. As a paintbrush they use a piece of caña brava ( Shetán). The painted fabrics have two color bottoms: white and brown. With these painted fabrics, dresses, cushions, tablecloths, curtains, pillows and wooden pictures frames can be made.
EMBROIDERED FRABICS - CHITONTE QUEHUEYA Chitonte Quehueya.- is a Shippibo name for tocuyo fabrics skirt dyed with natural dyes and embroidered with geometric designs.
KNITTED BRACELET - JONSHE MENESHETI
Jonshe Menesheti.- is a Shippibo name for bracelets knitted with cotton thread on a waiste loom.
